Hypertext fiction

Hypertext fiction is characterised by its use of short blocks of text, referred to as lexias, and within each lexia one or more words are hyperlinked creating paths to other lexias. This gives the reader choices about which path to take next (a bit like a choose your own adventure book with literary intentions!).
